Are there any medical restrictions for hiring?Our insurers do not discriminate against medical conditions. So long as the DVLA/ doctor/GP have not imposed any restrictions then you are covered as standard.

The hirer has an EU or foreign license and they cannot do a license check online. What can they do?You can find out whether a hirer is eligible to drive in Great Britain by using the Government’s online tool here: gov.uk/driving-nongb-licence. Currently, EU license holders under 70 years of age, living in the UK for longer than 12 months, who meet all the criteria mentioned above will be covered as standard. If they have an EU driving license and have been living in the UK for less than 12 months but can supply two proofs, as described above, plus their passport, they are covered as standard. Anything outside of the above must be referred to the insurers please get in touch with us via our "contact us" form.

The hirer’s driving license contains out-of-date information.You will need written confirmation from the DVLA confirming the adjustments have been made. This confirmation (usually supplied via email) alongside proof of address, existing license and updated DVLA check code will suffice. Please contact us to help.

The hirer has points on their license. What are the rules for hiring a vehicle?It depends on the number of points and the number of offences. • If the hirer has any ban or disqualification this will need to be referred. • If they have 9 points on their license for three x 3 point offences a £500 additional security deposit will apply totaling £1000 for anyone aged 25 and over, and £1200 for 23 and 24 year old's. • If they have a single 6 point offence (MS90, IN10) this will require a referral, please contact us via our "contact us" form. • Two x 3 point offences or anything less than 6 points are covered as standard. • One 4 point offence covered as standard

The hirer’s driving license has expired and is in the process of being renewed.Our insurers have pre-authorised the following to be suitable as per the Driver Referencing requirements: • Valid DVLA licence check • Copy of passport • 2 proofs of address

What comes as standard inside the Camper?6 large plates, small plates, bowls, cups, mugs 6 knives, forks, spoons, teaspoons. 2 cooking utensils. 1 pot, 1 pan. 1 gas whistling teapot. 1 dishcloth, 1 tea towel. 2 toilet roll.

Terms and conditionsAt the time of your booking full payment will be taken. All renters are asked to have all their documents sent to Ourweecampers@gmail.com two weeks prior to collection. All drivers must be 23 years old or older and have held a full driving licence for at least 2 years. If you hold a licence from a different country please get in touch through our contact us form prior to completing your booking, we will then confirm what information we require to complete your booking. For all drivers aged 23 and 24 a £1250 security deposit will be taken when collecting the camper. For all other drivers aged 25 and over the security deposit will be £1000. If the Driver has 6 points or more this security deposit will increase to £1500. If a driver has more than 4 points on their driving licence we suggest contacting us prior to booking. Security deposits will be returned to the driver once the campervan is returned to Our Wee Campers in the same condition that it left. Campers will be have a full fuel tank at time of pick up and is to be returned with a full tank. Fuel shortages will be charged at £40 per every 1/4 of tank. Pick up is at 3.00pm and drop off is at 11.00am this is to allow time for the campervan to be ready for the next customer. Late drop off will be charged; £10 per hour for the first 3 hours. Between 2 pm and 3 pm will be charged half a days rate. After 3pm will be charged a full days rate. Fresh water and grey water tanks are to be emptied prior to drop off. Chemical toilet is to be emptied and cleaned prior to drop off or will incur a £50 charge. We include a range of basic kitchen ware to get you going. Missing/damaged items may incur charges. All charges will be deducted from the security deposit. What documentation must you provide? • Copy of the photo card drivers’ licence both sides (address & ID must be up to date) Northern Ireland drivers must provide a copy of their paper counter part • Online licence check – a copy of your drivers licence information can be obtained from the gov.uk website. Please note, DVLA licence checks can only be carried out on driving licences issued from mainland UK • Two proof of address from separate sources You must provide a total of 2 proofs of address from the following: • Electricity (bill/statement) • Water (bill/statement) • Gas (bill/statement) • Broadband/Landline • Council tax • TV licence • Bank Statement • Credit card bill / statement • Mortgage statement • Polling card • HMRC self-assessment / tax credit • Student loan • Shotgun licence • Payslip • Mobile Phone Bills • Pension letters • Car Finance Statement • Loan Statement • Property deed Additional criteria: • Must have at least 2 years driving experience (Full UK, EU, AU, US, CA, NZ & SA licence types). • Two, 3 point convictions are acceptable (i.e. 2x SP30’s, 3pts each) without referral. • Single 4 point offences are acceptable without referral and subject to standard terms. • Single 6 point SP30, SP50 and CU80 convections are acceptable subject to a £1250 excess. All other 6 points+ offences will require referral to the insurers please contact us prior to booking. • No more than one fault or outstanding incident/claim in the last three years. Our Wee Campers reserves the right to cancel any booking with a full refund.

Cancellation policyAny cancellations made; 90 days or more from the start of your proposed holiday a full refund will be provided less £20 admin fee. Between 90 days and 14 days 75% of total booking fee will be refunded. 14 days or less no refund will be provided. Our Wee Campers aims to keep our customers happy, please get in touch before cancellation and see if we can provide an alternative solution.
